Born in Varese (Italy) in 1978, Pablo Parachinno began playing at the age of fifteen, studying with Stefano Gergatti and Pino Litrenta. A passionate drummer, he soon went on to found La Hierba Mala, an original reggae band playing in bars and clubs in northern Italy.

In 1999 Pablo moved to the UK with the view of establishing his music career, initially collaborating with London based bands, in pursuit of his first love, African and Latin music. Pablo studied with master drummers Papa J Mensa, Malo Sonko and sax player Nana Owusu and furthered his studies in Latin percussion at City Lit (London) with Mike Bennet

Pablo furthered his performance studies at Tech Music School (London) gaining a Bachelor degree in Popular Music Performance.

In 2004 he co-founded Ballalouda, a 8-piece Latin-Funk band and after two years recorded their debut album El Senor. With El Senor, Pablo toured and performed in venues including The Jazz Café, Cargo, La Fleche D’or (Paris), Venice Carnival and a variety of festivals throughout the UK, including Secret Garden, Small World and Stoke Fest.

Around the same time Pablo founded Lease Lend Studio (later becoming Stillness Studio in 2013) where he collaborated as percussionist and producer, with bands including progressive rock trio Illogical Procedure, soul and funk band Moyo, singer songwriter Luna De Musa, world music artist Peyote for President, metal band Calatrilloz, African reggae artist Back Medio, African artist Mosi Comde, Mexican artist Papa Tigre 'Flamexicano' and  Turkish artist Ejem Uzgor.

As a freelance drummer and percussionist, Pablo has performed with funk band Size Nine at the Greenwich and Windsor Jazz Festivals (2009-2010) and Fela Kuti cover band Kalakuta, founded by Emeka Elendu and Rotimi Afariogun (members of the legendary Fela Kuti & Egypt 80), performing at various events across London.  Pablo has also performed with singer/songwriter Eska at QEH (2011), Latin/Jazz band Riamba at London Moonwalk (2016), Rock/Blues trio Edo Elia at O2 Academy - Islington (2016), Gypsy band Barbarella's Bang Bang at Greenbelt Festival (2016), Campercalling Festival (2016) and on their German Tour (2015).

Pablo has further collaborated with Antonio Testa and Steve Ryan on Hypnophonica, performing live electro/dub. Performances include The Glade (2010) and Hackney Wicked (2011). Their debut EP Lentamente was released in 2012 and their latest EP Free was released in the late 2017.

In 2011, Pablo began collaborating with singer Biron Byroli and multi instrumentalist Rotimi Afariogun, creating Afrodizzie. Afrodizzie began as a studio project, but soon developed into a 12 piece funk/afro-beat band, spreading their love for the music of Africa, mixed with funk and jazz. They have performed at venues including Passing Clouds and Hootananny. In 2014 Afrodizzie released their debut album Masta Copy released on Kanuga Records

In 2016 Pablo has collaborated with the Ivorian singer Back Medio (RIP), recording and producing his last album Tere, which was released on November 20th 2017 and available on BandCamp.com

More recently Pablo has re-enstablished The Street Cats Band performing classic rock tunes in the street of London.

Currently Pablo is also working on a new project named 3DayRain, a hard-rockin', London-based power trio including Dan Persad on guitars and vocals and Geoff Halden on Bass.

Pablo has also been involved in a variety of theatre productions as both performer, composer and musical director. These include street theatre productions The Maharaja’s Banquet by Nutkhut performed at Richmond and Stockton Arts Festivals (2005); In The Dhol Drum, in collaboration with the Dohl Academy and Nutkhut (UK Tour 2005-06). Other productions include Unfolding Handersen by Theatre Rites performed at British Library (2005); Where Will We Live? by Changing Faces Collective performed as part of the CPT Festival at Southwark Playhouse and Camden People’s Theatre (2015)… and most recently Rasputing Rock by Facsimile Productions at the Stockwell Playhouse (2017);
